Demscore Best Master Thesis Award 2024

The Demscore Best Master Thesis Award honors an outstanding master thesis written in the field of Social Science. We invite all eligible candidates to submit their master theses for a chance to win a prize of 2000 SEK and the opportunity to present their work at the second Demscore conference in June.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Demscore Best Master Thesis Award, your thesis must meet the following criteria:

1. Your master thesis must utilize data provided by a minimum of two of DEMSCORE's partnering modules. Read more about our partners here.
2. Your master thesis must include a citation of the DEMSCORE project/data that was used in the thesis project.

Candidates must be available to attend the Demscore Conference 2024 on-site in Gothenburg from the 13th to the 14th of June 2024.

Submission Guidelines

Your submission must be accompanied by a nomination letter from your thesis supervisor or another faculty member who can vouch for the quality and relevance of your research.

Please prepare a submission package that includes;

1. A nomination letter written by your supervisor or another faculty member.
2. Your master thesis in a PDF format.
3. A short cover letter introducing yourself, your contact information, a brief summary of your thesis, and a clear indication of the partnering modules of DEMSCORE from which you have sourced your data.
