This dataset encompasses the diverse aspects of gender that are available for analysis in the Demscore research infrastructure. This includes social, cultural, economic, and health-related variables. The dataset provides researchers, policymakers, and practitioners with a rich repository of information to investigate and analyze gender-related issues from various perspectives, without having to search data sources and merge variables themselves.

This dataset includes one observation per country and year. Variables relating to the topic Gender are merged to country and year identifiers from the Demscore Country-Year Output Unit. Please note that data for some variables in this dataset may have been collected at a different level of analysis.
